On June 2010, a group of us hiked on Seven Bridges trail only. The weather was rather warm but the trail provided a lot of shading and many spots nearby the creek where we could sit and cool our feet. Since some of us were from Las Vegas, it was a nice change of scenery. the trail is shaded through the pine, spruce, fir, and aspen, so we have enjoyed the pretty sights of wildflowers, plants and trees. The running creek parallels the trail so the sound of it brings such a relaxing feeling. We also enjoyed a view of the sun beaming on the city of Colorado Springs.
The trail was easy to hike and very picturesque as well. Unfortunately, our friend couldn’t continue hiking due to her asthma acting up. Therefore, we had to stop and hiked back down. We plan to return and finish the whole hike this month. Stay tuned!
